Zoodog's Journal  Wow, I guess I still have a live journal its been a busy couple of weeks, One of my friends from purdue just had a baby, went up to kzoo, and my grandmother died. It was too bad about my grandmother, she was really the ideal grandmother but I never really knew my grandfather as he died when I was young. My friend having a child also seems to bring home the fact we had yet to provide her with any great grand children. Was alittle disappointed that I didn't see to many people at the Valentine's day massacre, but I didn't stay that late and I guess nate is in china. Current mood: busy. I was planning on going up to Kzoo for Valantines day massacure. Just checking to see if anyone else is planing on being there (already talked to Nathan), I also wanted to see if anyone had any lodging recomendation (don't have to be there as early this time, but still alot of driving for one day). 1. Making them change the lease so that they are required to notify me before entry 2. Cookie dough has raw egg and is therefore unsafe to eat, thus we should add enough alcohol to kill the offending microbes 3. Escalate violence in Irak to demish the population then transplant all the people displaced by the huracane (temperary lack or morals when I came up with this one) 4. Starting a Warmachine army 5. Getting them to let me move in prior to the home football game weekend though before the techical start on Oct 1 Current mood: creative. I am apparently still around and amazingly livejournal can put up with quite a bit of inactivity. I am a grad student at purdue in Veteriary Pathlogy, I'm working on these mutant cpdm mice which develop bad skin problems. In another related note I started a Skaven warhammer army (so many models!!). I belive I have found an appartment and will be moving soon, it would still be big enough to sleep people if they stop by, and one of the major French and Indian war reenactment events is coming up soon. I make it up to Chicago at some point, Should have gone durring labor day (large SCA event) but need to keep an eye on nutmeg. I'll probly run a one off game of paranioa after I move into my appartment (because I've said I was going to for a wile). We'll see how parinoia XP holds up to the original (well there were actully 3 versions prior but most people are attached to 2nd or 5th). They also released (I think its out now, got mine prereleace at gencon)a parinoia card game which is pretty good. The email which I currently check the most it cgeneczk@purdue.edu though my k address still works some of the time Current mood: productive. Current music: Need to remeber to bring it. Been a wile Going to gen con, my sceduled events are Exalted: friday 10 AM Werewolf: Saturday 10 AM till 6PM (long game we will see if I like the new system) Zombies 8PM I have a tenitive sleeping arangement, and will be looking for things to do thursday friday and sunday if people have sugestions I am planing to come up for the marithon next week does anyone have somewhere for me to stay? Shall I bring anything? Is nutmeg furry or fuzzy? How do I tell when a woman is flirting with me? What is the meaning of life the universe and everthing? Current mood:  relaxed.
Wow, I had a weird dream involving stargates Daniel jackson, G W Bush, and some woman which I have been unable to place but wasnt that important anyways. So Daniel decides to become a painter, but in the process sets of GW's alert monkey which was sitting on some sort of buiten board (as well as the one for his wife) which trigers a base lockdown and GW enters the room where danels paintings are with all his guards. So Daniel kills himself (electrocution, may have happend before he decided to become a painter) and become a squirrel and he and the lady have to sneek past all the guards to get back to the room. Somehow no longer a squirrel he and GW talk and it turns out that GW has been writing speaches on the drawings and they both decide they go well together (though somehow I feel neather are very good). I know enough pyck people they should be able to tell me something about it, Its one of the few I have remembered in years. Though it maybe my brain just trying to figure out to much out of sequence stargate. Current mood:  confused.
When should I come up to Kzoo? Also, for any SCAers there will be an event here in 3 weeks or so, were well known for our fencing and will have pirate themed melees. If your intrested I can get you more information and possibly a place to stay. charlie Current mood:  blah.
Shall I stay with someone friday night or just attempt to get there earily enough. (very dependent on weather there is someone to stay with) Nutdog is furry I lost my first 40k tournament, my army lead by epistialry Wickstrom and Brother Olexia was the worst painted one there (granted it was mostly done in one month with no previous experiance). And its hard to win with 40 points out of 150 already gone. As a side note in the quiz I learned that elder ships are not made of chesse. Wickstrom however contiues to prove just what a bad ass he is. I'll head up to kalamazoo next week for valintines day massicure (SCA event) where hopefully I will be autherized and can go to war. If you want to see me then you may need to come to the event or tell me and I'll try and stop by. Still no job, but a vet school interview in 2 weeks |
